Shipping Policy
All batteries sold by starbatteryhouse.com are sourced from manufacturers and suppliers authorized by the battery manufacturers’ e.g. Amaron, Exide, Luminous, MicroTek, SF Sonic and more.
All products sold by us come with manufacturers’ warranty and proper bill. There are no hidden costs, extra taxes, or additional shipping charges on products offered by us. We offer free delivery and installation.
Order Placement and Delivery Timings
- Orders can place online anytime, all orders received before 4:00 PM are installed same day. Orders received after 4:00 PM may be delivered on the same day or will be delivered the next day.
- Sundays and National Holidays, orders received before 12:00 PM shall be delivered same day. For orders received before 12:00 pm will be delivered the next Working day.
- Few of the cities, the delivery is closed for Sundays or Holidays.
- The 4 hours* or 24 hours* delivery commitment is only applicable to car batteries. If you are ordering any other product, please check out the respective product’s detail page to know the delivery time.
- Delivery starts from 08:00 AM on every working day.
- Online Paid orders will be delivered within 4 hours from the order time, for Cash on Delivery orders our respective city delivery division shall call you to confirm the order, shipping details and your availability. Once the order is confirmed, the battery (i.e.s,) will be delivered to the shipping address provided.
Delivery
- For all listed cities on the website, the delivery is free of cost.
- The delivery area shall be an entire city as per the respective State/Union territory jurisdiction and limits defined by the city Municipal Corporation, authority or administration respectively.
- In some of the Cities, locations because of the ‘security reasons’ same-day delivery are not available after 3:00 PM.
- There shall be a ‘Delivery charge’ in case the shipping address is nearby (or within 10 km ‘To and Fro’) to any listed city. Delivery charges shall be calculated on the basis of (distance in km from the delivery point). The local city delivery division shall also mutually with customer decide upon the delivery charges which shall be nominal. The customer will be informed in advance of delivery charges (if any) via E-mail, phone or SMS. Only after the customer agrees to pay delivery charges, the product shall be delivered otherwise the order shall be treated as cancelled.
- There may be a delay in delivery in case of any unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances like stock unavailability, heavy rains, traffic jams etc.
Installation:
- Installation of inverter batteries for a location above the ground floor up to the second floor (without a working lift) is subject to nominal labour charges of Rs. 100. A working lift is mandatory for installation locations above the second floor.
- For Inverter Combo i.e. (Inverter batteries + Inverter machine) and the new inverter battery installation, the free installation is limited to connecting with the mains. It doesn’t cover any additional wiring/connections or any electrical accessories like wires, switches, sockets etc. Customer agrees to bear the respective extra cost in case any extra work or the electrical item is required during installation. The installation will be carried out within 24 hours of delivery or later (as per the availability of the customer).
